Fans trying to secure tickets to Lady Gaga’s MAYHEM Ball UK tour have described the first presale as ‘legit like the Hunger Games’ due to its big queues.
Last week, the singer unveiled details of the upcoming shows, which will mark her first arena tour in seven years. Alongside dates across Europe, Asia and the US, Lady Gaga will also perform in London and Manchester.
She will perform three shows at London’s The O2 on September 29, September 30 and October 2, followed by a big show at Manchester’s Co-op Live on October 7. A second Manchester show, for October 8, was also confirmed today. Tickets will be available on a number of sites, including Ticketmaster and Live Nation.
The five shows are the only UK dates on the tour to be announced so far, which has resulted in a big demand for fans. The Co-op Live shows will also mark the first time Lady Gaga has played in Manchester in eleven years.
A number of presale opportunities began for tickets at 12pm today (March 31), including via the Co-operative and O2 Priority, but fans reported big queue numbers for the UK shows.
When the Manchester Evening News joined the waiting room at 12pm for the Manchester date, there were more than 17,000 people ahead of us in the queue. Others reported queues being as long as 40,000.
One person posted on X: “There are 29k people in front of us on ticketmaster for lady gaga tickets thinking it might be unlikely I’m going.” Another said: “Only 38355 in the queue for Lady Gaga Co Op Live Tickets.”
According to a message from Ticketmaster on the presale waiting room, tickets for the Co-op Live show are priced between £59.50 and £571.00 including fees.
Another wrote: “everything about this lady gaga manchester presale is insane?!?!? the amount of people trying for an arena AND the prices that don’t include VIP.”
Another person, sharing a screenshot of them being more than 39,000 in the queue for the Manchester show, posted: “Trying to get lady gaga tickets might just give up now.”
One other wrote: “40000 people in front of me for lady gaga tickets.” Another said: “27,000 in the queue for gaga tickets in Manchester.”
The high wait line also led some fans to contemplate that they would be unlikely to secure any tickets and considered leaving the queue altogether. One person posted: “was 45,000 in the gaga presale queue and i’m still in it is it time to admit defeat and give up.”
Another said: “the demand for lady gaga is insane .. no chance getting tickets for an arena.”
Others also reported that after getting to the end of the queue, they were greeted with a message that said that tickets had now sold out for their chosen show.
One posted: “Good luck to anyone trying to get Lady Gaga tickets bc I spent 20 minutes in the queue and it sold out immediately lmaoo.” Another said: “Guessing the lady Gaga presale has sold out? Queue not moved on ticketmaster for ages.”
One other wrote: “Its ridilulous trying to get Lady gaga tickets for manchester. ive been on the map selection for half an hour and every time i select seats, they just say 'no longer available' its been like this for half an hour.”
However, some fans have been able to venture through to the end and secure tickets. One person celebrated by posting: “LADY GAGA TICKETS SECURED AAAAA”. Another said: “I GOT LADY GAGA TICKETS!!!!”

The MAYHEM Ball, which is being held to coincide with the release of her recent number one album of the same name, will kick off in Las Vegas on July 16 and is currently set to conclude with three nights in Paris on November 17, 18 and 20.
General sale will take place on Thursday, April 3 at 12pm local time via Ticketmaster and Live Nation.
